The Cleveland Browns' quarterback carousel continues to spin at a furious pace.

Former Eastern Michigan QB Brogan Roback on the move.

Monday, the team signed former Eastern Michigan passer Brogan Roback, at least the fifth new quarterback on the roster since the 2017 regular season ended.

Roback (6-3, 215), a rookie, started 34 games in college and set school records for passing touchdowns (57) and yards of total offense (8,876).

The Browns acquired Tyrod Taylor from the Bills in a trade at the outset of free agency, while veteran backup Drew Stanton was signed on March 30. Baker Mayfield was the first overall pick of the draft, and former Wisconsin quarterback Joel Stave signed April 30 but was waived after a week.

In case you're keeping track, last year's 0-16 squad ended the season with rookie starter DeShone Kizer and fellow youngsters Cody Kessler and Kevin Hogan. All three have since been traded, Kizer going to Green Bay, Kessler to Jacksonville and Hogan to Washington.
