This Friday, January 12, David Letterman’s new interview program premieres on Netflix. The first guest on the show is President Barack Obama. Today, Netflix has shared a trailer for the episode. In the clip, Obama tells a story about dancing on stage with Prince a few months before the artist’s death. “I have dad moves,” Obama says of his dancing. Watch the teaser video below. Obama is a noted Prince fan who has called the Purple One “a creative icon.” At his last Halloween at the White House, Obama greeted a child dressed as Prince by singing “Purple Rain.”
Letterman’s Netflix show is called “My Guest Needs No Introduction With David Letterman.” Episodes are set to come out once a month. Future guests include JAY-Z, George Clooney, and Tina Fey.
